This is a wonderful book written by a wonderful author. You can connect with the characters and feel their pain and happiness and want to grab their hand so you can help them get through things anyway you can. It makes you laugh with the aurher sense of humor, the ways he avoids copyrights on people and things and it makes you cry with how the story plays out. This is definitely a book about heavy situations, but it lets you know never give up on yourself or others.

It’s a book that makes you think. I struggled with relating to some of the mental experiences the main character, Tobi A. describes during his highs, but I found a lot of the philosophies for handling grief thoughtful, interesting, and, ultimately, spot on. The word play for the podcast guests’ names and brands was very creative and I had to look twice a few times because they were just close enough to reality. I laughed. I cried. This was a far cry from my normal reading material, and it was pretty heavy, but I’m really glad I gave it the chance it deserved.
